The MBA Programme prepares Graduates for a leading role in management and is appropriate not only for participants with a background in business economics, but also for those with other specializations who seek further education in business management.
The IfM is one of the few educational establishments in Austria sufficiently specialized to be able to offer an extensive education in General Business Management to internationally accredited standards. The faculty is comprised of University Lecturers from research and doctrine, trainers and executives from successful business enterprises, as well as business consultants and successful entrepreneurs. All Faculty members have many years not only of practical experience but also of teaching experience in international management and advanced education. Graduates therefore emerge with a proven ability to demonstrate complex business psychology, as well having developed and tested the high social competence and intercultural management skills demanded by modern business management.
The Executive MBA-Programme has a modular structure, with eleven compulsory and three elective subjects presented in a time window from Thursday to Saturday. A total of 40 days presence is required and IfM offers flexible planning of studies with individual examination dates; tuition takes place at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg as well as at a partner university abroad and the average of studies for the Degree is approximately 18 months.
